Jimmy Fretwell writes songs about people who have lived a little—and usually have the receipts. The Southern Oregon songwriter mixes folk, country, and Americana with a weathered voice, a sharp eye, and an affection for the messy parts of being human.
A lifelong musician and songwriter and somewhat late-blooming touring artist, Fretwell has been making up for lost time with recognition from Saving Country Music and No Depression and appearances at Ft. Worth Songwriters Festival, Folk Alliance International, Wintergrass, OrcasFest, Britt Festival, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Green Show and more.
